Job duties |
The Sales Representative is responsible for introducing and promoting company products and services to clients located in the United States and other emerging markets in the Americas. Working jointly with other sales persons, as well as independently, the Sales Representative handles all facets of the sales process from marketing to delivery and then maintains client relations for future business.
Some Key Duties and Responsibilities include:
• Solicits inquires/orders for technical materials from existing and new customers.
• Trains and supervises sales subordinates; planning, assigning and directing work.
• Develops and recommends pricing strategy for existing and new customers.
• Maintains existing customers by quality assurance and their satisfaction and develops relationships with new customers.
• Develops market strategies for new customers and new markets, and contacts potential customers based on a market research.
• Researches markets of the products
• Communicates extensively with customers and Tokyo HQ to coordinate pre-production, production, and delivery of the products to the customers.
• Communicates extensively with customers to obtain business roadmap and forecast information for technical materials from existing and new customers.
• Travels as required to see existing and potential customers and to promote products.
• Writes monthly sales reports, customer correspondence, and related business correspondence.
• Develops new business such as products related to Electronic System Center, MEMS Center and PWB.
• Additional duties as required.
